Services were conducted at the home at two o'clock by the Reverend a. T. Sutcliffe, pastor of Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church and later services were held at the grave. Members of the Legion, Merton Suits, John Gray, George Seider, Clarence Gray, harry Quinter and Raymond Miller, acted as pall bearers and at the cemetery the full G. A. R. military.
